CEYISED envisioned a world in which all youths can realize their full potentials in a society that respect their views and contributions.

MANAGEMENT:
The day to day running of the organization is vested in the hands of young men and women of Nigeria descent who mange and run the organization successfully.

LOCATION:
The headquarter of the organization is located in Abuja, with a functional offices in Oyo State.

INCOPORATON STATUS:
Centre for Youth Initiative on Self Education (CEYISED) was incorporated under the incorporated trustees of Centre for youth Initiative on Self Education on the 12th day may, 2008 with certificate NO: CAC/IT/NO 27795.

PREVIOUS PROGRAMMES:
JUNE 4, 2008 : The organization organized a leadership seminar for secondary schools tagged “CATCTH THEM YOUTH INITIATIVE” at Chelston international secondary school Gwagwalada, Abuja.

SEPTEMBER 24, 2008: In continuation of the leadership seminar, the organization organize a workshop for teachers, parents, NGOs, and adults with the theme; YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH MENTORING, at Cyprian Ekwensi art and cultural centre, Area 10 Garki, Abuja.

SEPTEMBER 24, 2008: The organization launch the maiden edition of it’s magazine / newsletter title THE INITIATIVE. The magazine focus on issues that borders on corruption, enterprise development, youth development and capacity building. The magazine goes out free of charge to participants of the workshop other youth.

FEBRUARY 21, 2009: The organization launched its entrepreneurial workshop series in Abuja with the theme; GRADUATE INTO YOUR OWN BUSINESS, at Bolton While hotel Area 11 Garki, Abuja.

APRIL 25, 2009: The organization continued with its entrepreneurial workshop series in Oyo State with the theme; GRADUATE INTO YOUR OWN BUSINESS, at university of Ibadan conference centre, Ibadan, Oyo State.

June 21, 2009: The organization published its magazine / newsletter titled THE INITITIVE. The magazine focuses on issues that boarders on enterprise development as well as capacity building, and was distributed free of charge to participants of Abuja, Oyo State and Enugu State workshops.
JUNE 25, 2009: The organization held its final entrepreneurial workshop series in Enugu State with the theme; GRADUATE INTO YOUR OWN BUSINESS, at Igbo Eze north local government secretariat, Ogurute, Enugu State.

SEPTEMBER 7 – 11, 2009: The organization participated in training of trainer programme organized for fifty NGOs in Nigeria by Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), facilitated by International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (ICECD) Ahmedabad, India.

In year 2010,CEYISED embarked on a leadership training for class captains and assistant class captains of secondary schools in Abuja and Ibadan,Oyo State.
The project activities include:
Leadership training programme for class captains and assistant captain to serve as peer education in Abuja and Oyo State on the 2nd March,2010 and 30thJune,2010 respectively
The highlight of the programme is the signing of integrity commitment form by the students to commit their life to the highest level of integrity

CONCLUSION:
Centre for youth initiative on self education (CEYISED) is a strategic initiative which we believe will bring hope, succor and development to Nigeria youth and by extension Africa.
